These Terms & Conditions govern your use of vintagebriefcase.com and any purchase you make from Vintage Briefcase Company (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, "we", "us" or "our"). We provide services to you subject to the notices, terms and conditions set out in this agreement. By accessing, browsing or otherwise using the site, or by placing an order, you agree to all of them. Please read them carefully. We reserve the right to change this site and these terms at any time.

By accepting these terms through your use of the site, you certify that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, please use this site only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Use of the Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. By accessing the site you agree that you will not:

Licence & Intellectual Property

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to access and use the site by displaying it in your internet browser, only for the purpose of shopping and not for any commercial use or use on behalf of any third party, except as we explicitly permit in advance. Any violation of this agreement results in the immediate revocation of this licence without notice to you.

Unless we explicitly permit otherwise in advance, all materials on this site, including images, text, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs and other written or downloadable materials (together, the "Contents"), are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. All content, including the Vintage Briefcase Company name, logo, product imagery and copy, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, display, sell, lease, transmit, create derivative works from, translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise exploit this site or any portion of it unless we expressly permit it in writing. You may not make commercial use of any information provided on the site or use the site for the benefit of another business. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts and cancel orders at our discretion, including where we believe customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to our interests.

Passwords & Account Security

If we give you an account identification and password to access parts of the site, you are solely responsible for protecting their security and confidentiality. You are responsible for all access to and use of the site by anyone using your password and identification, whether or not you actually authorised it, including all communications, transmissions and obligations (including financial obligations) incurred through that access. Each time your password or identification is used, we are entitled to treat that use as authorised by you, and we have no obligation to investigate its source. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your password or identification, or of any other breach or threatened breach of the site's security.

Products & Descriptions

We take care to describe our products accurately, including materials and dimensions. Our pieces are vintage style reproductions and curated items, not genuine antiques, and each listing states what the item is made of. Product photos are for illustration, and slight variation in colour and finish can occur.

Pricing

All prices are shown in US dollars. We make every effort to ensure prices are correct at the time of publishing. If we discover an error in the price of an order you have placed, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price before dispatching.

Ordering

Important delivery and ordering information to know when you order from vintagebriefcase.com.

• Order processing. Once your payment has cleared, orders are usually fulfilled within 24 to 48 hours.
• Contacting us. You can send us a message at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we reply within 24 hours.

Orders & Purchase Terms

• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed once we confirm and dispatch your order.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where stock is unavailable or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will issue a full refund.
• You are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact details. We are not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information.

Payment & Security

Payment is taken at checkout through our secure, encrypted (SSL) payment providers, Stripe for cards and PayPal. We do not store your full card details. Your order will be processed once payment is authorised.

Shipping, Returns & Cancellations

Delivery times, coverage areas, and full return and refund conditions are set out in our Shipping and Refunds & Returns pages, which form part of these Terms. Order cancellation is free at any time before your order ships.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the products in that order.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity.
• We provide the website "as is" and do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with the relevant jurisdiction. Your rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
